The app may use your device location only to calculate distances to earthquakes and volcanoes or to provide location-based alerts. Your exact location is never sent to our servers and is never shared with third parties.
“I felt it” reports
When you submit an “I felt it” report, your location is automatically blurred (randomized within approximately 100 meters) before being transmitted. Reports include only the information you voluntarily provide.
Advertising
If you use the free version of the app, advertising may be shown. Ads are provided by external partners (such as Google). These third parties may collect certain technical or usage data as part of delivering ads, according to their own privacy policies.
We do not have access to or control over what data is collected by advertising networks or by Google Play Services.
No accounts, no tracking
The app does not create user accounts and does not collect personal information such as your name, email address, or phone number. We do not use analytics and we do not track user behavior.
Notifications
For optional notification services, only the minimum technical information required by the platform (such as a notification token) is used. These tokens contain no personal data.
